Franchot Tone Biography

The second husband of Joan Crawford. At the time he met Joan Crawford she was on an off-again relationship with Clark Gable. Although Joan and Clark would resume their relationship during Tone`s marriage to Crawford and years after. Every one in hollywood including Joan Crawford warned him not to marry Barbara Payton. His marriage to Jean Wallace was a clear rebound from his failed marriage to Joan Crawford. Starred alongside Loretta Young, Miriam Hopkins, and Jean Harlow. Great friends with Burgess Meredith.
